Dr. S. Christopher Moore is
clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Illinois
College of Medicine at Rockford and in private practice at Rockford
Gastroenterology Associates, Ltd. since 1984. Dr. Moore earned is medical
degree from Finch University of Health Sciences (Chicago Medical School).
He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Mayo Graduate
School of Medicine, Rochester, Minnesota where he received the Eugenie Bolz
award for teaching and research. Dr. Moore is board certified in internal
medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Moore is on the active staff at
SwedishAmerican Hospital and Saint Anthony Medical Center where he has
served on the Executive Committee.
Dr. Moore has numerous
publications to his credit as well as numerous scientific presentations to
the local medical community. Dr. Moore is a Fellow in the American College
of Physicians and member of many medical societies including the American
Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of
Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American
Medical Association.
Dr. Moore is trained and
experienced in the management of all aspects of gastroenterology, although
special interests include inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal diseases,
and irritable bowel syndrome. |
