Dr. Aaron Shiels joins Rockford
Gastroenterology Associates, Ltd. in 2004. Dr. Shiels received his medical
degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where he
also completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology. As a
Gastroenterology Fellow, Dr. Shiels received special training in diseases of
the liver, pancreas, and biliary tract, including diagnostic and therapeutic
ERCP. He participated in research projects studying biliary complications
after liver transplant surgery and complications following bariatric surgery
for morbid obesity.
He is a member of the American
Gastroenterological Association. He maintains an interest in diseases of
the liver, pancreas, and biliary tract. |
