Join our team and grow with RGA! We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to work in our fast-paced Endoscopy Center. The RN will rotate through all areas in the endoscopy center (which includes prepping patients, assisting in procedures, and in the recovery room). Applicant should be willing to work in a team environment. Shifts are 10 hours a day, openings ranging 30-40 hours per week. We are open Monday through Friday and hours vary from 630am-530pm with rotating days off each week. This position does not require nights, holidays, and weekends. Minimal Requirements:

  1. Current certification in Illinois as a Registered Nurse.
  2. BLS certified.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for the front desk services by providing efficient and reliable service, routine information, and welcoming patients and guests. Duties will include the operation of a telephone communication system, use of the electronic medical record and/or practice management software, assisting patients with required forms, collection of co-pays, use of oral and written instructions in English, use of a pleasant voice, and ability to speak clearly and directly. This position requires significant customer service and verbal skills as well as a willingness to continually improve company processes.

The ideal candidate will need an understanding of the telephone communication system and the electronic health record, as well as the policies that support the usage and access of data contained therein. The ideal candidate will need to have experience verbally communicating with customers and basic computer skills. The primary function of the Infusion Registered Nurse is to provide IV Infusion therapy and monitor patients during treatment. Care provided includes the assessment of the adult patient’s health status prior to infusion, administration of medications per provider order, placement, and maintenance of venous access devices, monitoring of vital signs, and response to emergency situations.

Education Requirements:

  1. Unencumbered, active Illinois RN license
  2. Previous experience in infusion therapy preferred but not required
  3. IV start skills
  4. BLS

Job Description:

  1. Administers IV fluids and medications including biologic therapies via vascular access devices per physician order
  2. Assesses and evaluates potential or actual patient reactions/health problems
  3. Provides education to patient and family regarding medications and side effects
  4. Documents patient care in electronic health record including patient charges associated with billing
  5. Adheres to department policies and procedures
  6. Maintains safe and therapeutic environment
  7. Participates in the establishment of the patient’s ongoing plan of care
  8. Maintains yearly-required programs: Patient Safety, Infection Control, and BLS Certification
