Sunil S. Patel, M.D. is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist.  Dr. Patel completed his medical school at New Jersey Medical School, a residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School in Boston, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at University of Massachusetts-memorial Medical Center/University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Dr. Patel is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.  Dr. Patel is trained in the broad discipline of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
