Dr. Ilche Nonevski joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates in 2008.  Dr. Nonevski completed his combined medical and business degrees at the University of Cincinnati, his residency in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland, and his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Cleveland Clinic.   As a fellow, Dr. Nonevski developed an interest in swallowing and esophageal disorders, and conducted research on the causes of eosinophilic esophagitis.

Dr. Nonevski is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
