Dr. Christopher M. Gibbs joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates in 2008.  Dr. Gibbs obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California San Diego and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Creighton University School of Medicine.  He completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic and his gastroenterology fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center.  Dr. Gibbs is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Dr. Gibbs is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians.

Dr. Gibbs is trained in the broad discipline of gastroenterology and hepatology. He has an interest in inflammatory bowel disease.
